1. Introduction

The Institute of Political Leadership ("IPL", "Institute", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to providing a transparent, fair, and responsive mechanism for addressing complaints, concerns, and grievances raised by students, members, applicants, website users, and other stakeholders.

This Grievance Redressal Policy outlines the process for submitting, reviewing, and resolving grievances related to the services offered through www.iplindia.org.

By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

2. Purpose

The objectives of this Policy are to:

  • Any other service offered by IPL.

4. Matters Not Covered

The following are generally outside the scope of this Policy:

  • Requests for refunds where the published No Refund Policy applies.
  • Complaints based solely on disagreement with academic opinions or educational content.
  • Anonymous complaints lacking sufficient information for investigation.
  • Matters that are already pending before a court of law, tribunal, arbitration, or other competent authority.
  • Complaints that are frivolous, malicious, abusive, or intended to harass.
  • Issues arising from third-party services that are beyond IPL's control, such as payment gateway outages or internet service interruptions.

Institute of Political Leadership reserves the right to decline grievances that fall outside the scope of this Policy.

5. Who May Submit a Grievance

The following persons may submit a grievance:

  • Students.
  • Applicants.
  • Members.
  • Course participants.
  • Event attendees.
  • Website users.
  • Parents or legal guardians (where applicable).
  • Authorized representatives acting on behalf of a user.

6. How to Submit a Grievance

Grievances should be submitted in writing by email.

  • Full Name.

  • Mobile Number.
  • Course, Membership, or Program Name (if applicable).
  • Date of the incident.
  • Detailed description of the grievance.
  • Relevant supporting documents or screenshots (if available).
  • The outcome or resolution you are seeking.

Providing complete and accurate information will assist us in resolving your grievance more efficiently.

7. Grievance Handling Process

Step 1 — Receipt of Grievance

Upon receiving your grievance, Institute of Political Leadership will acknowledge receipt within a reasonable period, typically within 3 to 5 business days.

Step 2 — Review

The grievance will be reviewed by the appropriate department or authorized personnel based on its nature.

Additional information or clarification may be requested from the complainant where necessary.

Step 3 — Investigation

Where appropriate, Institute of Political Leadership will conduct an impartial review, which may include:

  • Reviewing records and documents.
  • Consulting relevant staff or instructors.
  • Examining technical logs.
  • Evaluating supporting evidence submitted by the complainant.

Step 4 — Resolution

Following the review, Institute of Political Leadership will communicate its findings and, where appropriate, the actions taken to resolve the grievance.

Our aim is to resolve most grievances within 15 business days of receiving all necessary information. Complex matters may require additional time, and users will be informed if an extension is necessary.

8. Principles of Resolution

Institute of Political Leadership is committed to resolving grievances in accordance with the following principles:

  • Fairness.
  • Transparency.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Timeliness.
  • Respect.
  • Objectivity.
  • Compliance with applicable laws.

Each grievance will be assessed based on its individual facts and circumstances.

9. User Responsibilities

When submitting a grievance, users are expected to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information.
  • Cooperate during the review process.
  • Respond promptly to requests for additional information.
  • Maintain respectful communication.
  • Avoid submitting duplicate or repetitive complaints regarding the same issue unless new evidence is available.

10. Confidentiality

IPL will make reasonable efforts to maintain the confidentiality of grievance-related information.

Information may be shared only:

  • With personnel involved in resolving the grievance.
  • Where required by law.
  • Where necessary to protect the legal rights of Institute of Political Leadership or another party.

11. Frivolous or Malicious Complaints

Institute of Political Leadership reserves the right to reject grievances that are:

  • Knowingly false.
  • Vexatious.
  • Repetitive without new evidence.
  • Offensive or abusive.
  • Intended to harass or disrupt the grievance process.

Repeated misuse of this process may result in restrictions on access to Institute of Political Leadership services.

12. No Retaliation

Institute of Political Leadership is committed to ensuring that users who submit genuine grievances in good faith are treated fairly.

No user will be subjected to retaliation solely for raising a legitimate concern through this Policy.

13. Decisions

After reviewing the grievance, Institute of Political Leadership may, where appropriate:

  • Provide clarification.
  • Correct administrative errors.
  • Restore access to services.
  • Offer technical assistance.
  • Update user records.
  • Implement service improvements.
  • Take disciplinary action where internal misconduct is established.
  • Decline the grievance where it is found to be without merit.

The decision of IPL shall be communicated to the complainant and, unless otherwise required by law, shall be final within the internal grievance process.

14. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in this Policy shall be construed as creating any obligation on Institute of Political Leadership to provide compensation, refunds, damages, or remedies beyond those required by applicable law or expressly provided under Institute of Political Leadership's published policies.

15. Changes to this Policy

Institute of Political Leadership reserves the right to amend, update, or modify this Grievance Redressal Policy at any time.

Any revised version shall become effective upon publication on www.iplindia.org.

Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Delhi, India.
